If anyone does anything for 50 years we think they deserve a pat on the back. And none more so than the Brisbane Writers Festival, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2012. Our problem? How to create a concept suitably big enough to celebrate the anniversary. The solution? Create something that is ACTUALLY big. Instead of artwork, we created a sculpture that can feature at the Festival as well as on every piece of artwork promoting the event. Then we created a story on Twitter written one tweet at a time over 50 days prior to the start of the festival by 50 famous writers. Because a creative festival deserves a creative solution.
